Like every year, “Belev Echad” delighted hundreds of the organization’s children and their families with the annual Simchat Beit Hashoeva celebrations.
The volunteers, together with the children of the organization, started off the Sukkot celebrations with a visit to the Chief Rabbi of Israel, Rabbi David Lau, with the participation of the President of Israel, Mr. Ruvi Rivlin, in Modi’in, where they spent a long time singing and dancing with musical instruments. The president spoke with the children and listened to what the children had to say with such warmth. At the end of the visit, the children received heartfelt blessings from Rabbi David Lau.
Afterwards, they continued on to the first Simchat Beit Hashoeva, where they were joined with more children and their families at the Hadassim Garden Auditorium in Modi’in Illit, accompanied by the extended orchestra of Aharale Nahshoni and the talented singers Ruli Dickman, Yehuda Fleishman, Yoeli Klein and Moishe Porush.
On the second day of the holidays, several groups of volunteers went to cheer up patients in hospitals across the country, spreading the light and joy of the holiday into the hearts of the patients.
On the third day of Chol Hamoed, the second Simchat Beit Hashoeva took place at the Beit Yisrael hall in Jerusalem. Famous singers and musicians joined us at the event, including, David Heller-Saxophone, Mendy Heller-Electric Guitar and the singers Beri Weber, Meilach Kohn, Yeedle Werdyger, Srulik Kletzkin, Pumpidisa Band and Netanel Manat accompanied with the Nernana Choir directed by Hershy Segal.
Belev Echad would like to take this opportunity to warmly thank the hundreds of volunteers who helped makes this event so successful, as well as the organization’s loyal partners who sponsored these events: Coca Cola, Meshubach and The Hadassim Garden Auditorium.
